Say 'hello' to Cherry!

She's so cute you just want to scoop her into your hands and hold her forever. As it is, Cherry is happy to be held 24/7 even though she's the biggest fan of toys.  So far, we've noticed Cherry is the "unbothered" type of Pommie that's fairly chill despite her high energy levels.  We have found a way to immediately calm her, though: scratches!  Start scratching her back or ears and she lays on her stomach and becomes nearly comatose. 

 One of her other quirks is that she will search high and low until finding a toy she wants, then lays down to chew on it.  If another puppy comes near, she snatches it up and plays 'keep away' with the toy.  If another puppy has the toy she wants, she has *no* qualms about stealing it.  Cherry snatched a toy from Poptart and ran off before he even realized what happened.  She even does all of these things in her video from January 7th!  She's a brat through and through.   

Cherry's coat is cream-colored in appearance, but she's actually a chocolate-dilute cream!  She's the only one of four who didn't inherit the blue color genetics from her dad.  Cherry is the spitting image of her mom, Twister, who is also a chocolate-dilute cream color with a chocolate nose!

Cherry's nose is chocolate-spotted, but should eventually be entirely solid chocolate.  It'll slowly change over the next several months as she grows.  

Cherry's mom is Twister.  As stated above, she is the spitting image of her mom even as a puppy.  We have an excellent idea of what Cherry will look like as an adult since her mom was born and raised here!  Ask, and we would be able to send you a picture or two of Twister now.  Twister is a creamy chocolate-dilute girlie who weighs 6.7 pounds.  Her coat is soft and thick with tiny hints of white that peek out every once in a while.  Twister even has the tiny white dot on her forehead that Cherry has.  

Cherry's dad is Tuxedo.  He's black parti in color, weighs 6 pounds, and has an enormously thick double undercoat.  It takes us fooooooorrrreeeevvvverrrr to brush him out, but he loves the heck out of it.  He happily plops into our lap with a Pommie smile to be groomed.  He was born and raised here and he has tons of experience with baths and grooming--we're lucky he loves it so much!  

Cherry was born October 27th.  She turned 8 weeks old December 22nd and can leave for a new home any time! 

Cherry will go to her new home with a 1 year health contract, an AKC registration app, vet examination with health certificate (optional), current vaccinations and deworming, small bag of puppy food, handmade puppy bed and blanket, and lifetime support.
